Drako introduced its most Powerful Dragon hyper-SUV

Drako’s new Dragon hyper-SUV, which costs under US$290,000, appears to be the most convenient and comfortable method to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 96 km/h) in just 1.9 seconds. This Model X-killer combines insane power with elegance that includes a large screen and upward-moving doors.

Okay, 290 grand is a significant sum of money to spend on a vehicle. But if you’re looking at super-SUVs, it’s not much more expensive than the US$230-or-so thousand you’d spend on a Lamborghini Urus and far less expensive than Ferrari’s US$400,000-and-up Purosangue. And regardless of how they may appear, the Dragon will do admirably on both of them as well as pretty much anything else from a great height.

Both front and back seat passengers can enter the vehicle with some dignity thanks to the enormous gull-wing doors because they don’t have to embarrass themselves by folding the front seats forward. Once you’re inside, you can look at screens that are even bigger than the ones on your phone or laptop to distract yourself from the impending, lung-squeezing fear of high-G acceleration.

Drako fully anticipates that some of these items will be used off-road. As a result, it is equipped with suspension that can be adjusted so that the car can be lowered to just 6.4 inches (16.3 cm) of ground clearance for hard-charging racetrack driving or raised to 12.4 inches (31.5 cm) of clearance in a “overland” setting so that your grandma can enter without damaging her foofer valve.

Drako is now accepting reservations deposits and anticipates starting customer deliveries in 2026. If there is enough lithium, it intends to increase output to 5,000 units annually at some point. See the video down below.
