Is this your first trip to London? Reside in the heart of London! A central London hotel allows you to explore more in a shorter amount of time. Because you won’t need as many days to see as much, you’ll end up saving money on transportation and your vacation budget overall.

Try Not to Visit During School or Bank Holidays
Not only is London a major tourist destination in Europe, but it is also one of the most picturesque cities in the United Kingdom. It’s a famous tourist spot that millions of people flock to every year.
Travelers flock to London in droves throughout the summer months of July and August, as well as during school vacations and European bank holidays. Avoid these busy times if at all possible; you’ll find fewer people, better rates, and more availability then.
On weekends and in the days leading up to Christmas, it is advisable to stay away from the main retail streets if you intend to visit London during the holiday season.
Reserve as Many Things as You Can Ahead of Time
Not making advance preparations for your journey to London is one of the worst things you can do when there. Quite a while before!

Save Money and Time on London’s Top Attractions
For a first-time visitor to London, seeing the city’s most famous sites is an absolute must. But you might as well spend days and hours in queue if you’re unprepared.
Think about getting priority passes or skip-the-line tickets to the top attractions in London if you want to maximize your time there.
The price tag may seem high, but consider it this way. Why waste your hard-earned cash on a trip to London if you’re going to waste it standing in the queue instead of viewing the sights?
Try to Use Credit Cards or Make Phone Payments
Paying in the UK now requires very little cash. Almost everywhere now takes credit cards, and even more, locations now let you pay with your phone. While it’s convenient to have some cash on hand for smaller transactions, using a credit card or your phone is far more convenient.
While most major credit cards are accepted in London, the two most common are VISA and Mastercard. Neither American Express nor Diner’s Club is particularly popular in Europe. Nearly all establishments also accept debit cards, sometimes known as cash-only cards.
A card with a chip and a 4-digit PIN is usually required for use, so keep that in mind. Get your PIN number memorized immediately! The majority of European payment systems require a credit card number and PIN. Even though some establishments may still take signature cards, they usually have no idea how to process them or even if they can because no one in Europe uses that system anymore.
