Green and Energy-Efficient: Bench Headquarters Minimizes Carbon Footprint

Foster + Partners recently unveiled their innovative design for the upcoming Bench Headquarters, which will serve as the new central hub for the popular clothing brand. Situated in Manila, the capital city of the Philippines on the island of Luzon, this office tower is being meticulously crafted to align with the local climate and seismic conditions, ensuring both functionality and resilience.

The architectural blueprint of the Bench Headquarters emphasizes sustainability, with a particular focus on minimizing reliance on grid-based electricity. With 24 floors in total, the majority of the space will be dedicated to office facilities, providing an efficient and productive workspace for the brand’s employees. In addition to the work areas, the design incorporates a stunning, light-filled atrium that can be transformed into an expansive event space, accommodating various gatherings and occasions.

Furthermore, the Bench Headquarters embraces the concept of green living, incorporating numerous terrace areas filled with lush greenery. These green spaces not only enhance the aesthetics of the building but also contribute to a healthier and more pleasant working environment. Employees will have the opportunity to relax and connect with nature during breaks, fostering a sense of well-being and rejuvenation amidst the bustling cityscape.

With its thoughtful design, the Bench Headquarters aims to become an architectural landmark, seamlessly blending functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics. Foster + Partners’ meticulous attention to detail ensures that this forthcoming structure will not only cater to the needs of Bench but also contribute to the urban landscape of Manila, providing an iconic and environmentally conscious space for the brand’s headquarters.
